The Mercedes-Benz AG/Mercedes-Benz Group AG meets the digital requirements with the proQ procurement system. Partners are also connected to proQ and thus benefit from improved data exchange with our purchasing units.
 
The old procurement environment, with applications such as GLOBUS and eDocs has been successively replaced by proQ in recent months. The implementation of proQ is based on the agile principle: new functionalities of the system were continuously developed and rolled out at short intervals during the last years. Improvements to existing functionalities will continue to be made in the future.
 
From 01.12.2021, there are three tiles to support electronic data exchange with partners. For you as a supplier this means that you don’t find all purchasing documents in one single application, but you obtain them from several functionalities:
 
 • proCure with eAccept - for contracts with price structure as well as price requests for quotation from the procurement system proQ
 • proFrame with eAccept - for contracts without price structure (e.g. multi-year supply contracts, FOSS, confidentiality agreements, etc.) from the procurement system proQ 
 • proSource - for production material requests for quotation and complex non-production material requests for quotation from the procurement system proQ
